Summary

Potency and viability of spores and parasporal crystals of Bt aizawai in natural and autoclaved soil were evaluated. Increased rate of mortality and loss of potency of Bt aizawai occurred in natural soil, most likely from the presence of microorganisms.

Comments

This study was not done with Bt from transgenic plants.
