Field evaluation of Bacillus thuringiensis var. israelensis as a black fly biocontrol agent and its effect on nontarget stream insectsAuthors: Molloy, D., Jamnback, H.
Journal, Volume, Year: Journal of Economic Entomology, volume 74:314-318, 1981
Summary
The effectiveness of Bt israelensis against black fly larvae and effects on nontarget stream insects was determined. Bt israelensis was effective in reducing black fly larvae, but caused no adverse effects on mayfly, caddisfly, stonefly, chironomid, or elmid populations. |
Helpful in understanding the broad picture of Bt nontarget effects.
