Summary

The relationship between length of exposure to Bt kurstaki delta-endotoxin and survival of the tobacco budworm Heliothis virescens was determined. Tobacco budworms were able to recover from the effects of Btk toxin; however, as the length of exposure increased, the ability to recover decreased.

This study did not use Bt from transgenic plants.
