Methods for assessing field persistence of Bacillus thuringiensis spores

The persistence of Bt (Dipel�) was determined on leaves of Cercis occidentalis in the field. Results indicate that greater than 90% of the total dose is delivered to the insect population the first day following application.
This study did not use Bt from transgenic plants.
