Summary

The effects of low concentrations of Bt kurstaki delta-endotoxin on tobacco budworms, Heliothis virescens, were evaluated. Development time increased, pupal weight decreased and the number of larvae able to reach adulthood decreased as concentrations of Btk delta-endotoxin increased.

This study was not done using Bt from transgenic plants.
