Formulations of Bt (Thuricide WP and 90T) were sprayed in an apple orchard and populations of insects were evaluated. Several species were less numerous after treatment with Bt including: larvae of winter moth, eye-spotted bud moth, orchard tent caterpillars, and fall webworms.
This study did not use Bt from transgenic plants.
