Summary
Fed aphids (Myzus persicae) to lady beetle (Hippodamia convergens). Aphids were raised on Bt or non-Bt potatoes (HybriTech seed, Russet Burbank) for an unspecified amount of time. There were no statistical differences in aphids consumed, development time, pupal weight, or adult longevity. |
Older study, no mention if non-Bt potatoes were isogenic or which protein was used. Suggests that aphids feeding on transgenic potatoes are a safe food source for the lady beetle tested.
