Green cloverworm larvae cause injury to soybean by feeding on leaves. The feeing by this caterpillar results in very tattered-looking leaves with all but the main veins being consumed. Leaf consumption is estimated to about 21.2 in2 (53.9 cm2) per larva. The insect is only an occasional pest of soybean.
