Accommodation

Accomodations

We have negotiated special arrangements with Warwick Conferences and reserved a block of rooms for conference participants.  Warwick Conferences offers a package rate for delegates, thus the price for your on campus accommodation includes not only your room but also the following:  breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea and coffee breaks, the mixer (which consists of a buffet meal and drinks) and the barbecue. This is a really good deal and we would like delegates to enjoy the campus experience and therefore encourage you to stay in the halls. Please reserve your accommodation at the same time as registering for the conference to ensure room availability and to receive the special conference rate.

ON CAMPUS ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation for most delegates will be on campus in the University halls of residence, although hotel accommodation off campus is also available if required. The standard of accommodation is very high.

OFF CAMPUS ACCOMMODATION

Unfortunately the University accommodation is not set up for guests under 16 years of age. Hence we recommend that families with children stay in one of the hotels nearby the campus. Delegates will have to book off campus accommodation themselves. We recommend the Village Hotel and Leisure Club as the closest hotel with full family facilities but other options are available.

Castle

Kenilworth (5 km from the University) is a small, quiet town with some great tourist attractions (including the largest castle ruins in the UK) and hence this will be an option for families seeking a quieter venue than Coventry, which is a large city. If you have a car you may also consider staying in Warwick, which is an excellent tourist venue, has a wide range of hotels and guesthouses, and is 15 minutes drive from the campus. Most of these hotels and guest houses will have websites for obtaining more information:
