Fifty Years of the Integrated Control Concept: Moving the Model and Implementation Forward in ArizonaMonday, September 21st at 4:10pm, in E-164 Lagomarcino Hall Peter Ellsworth, Department of Entomology, University of Arizona & Arizona Pest Management Center, Maricopa, AZ Abstract: Is IPM dead? "IPM", 50 years after the publication of its core concepts by Stern et al. (Hilgardia, 1959), remains today a hotly debated paradigm for sustainable pest management. This presentation will review the Integrated Control Concept and provide detail on a rare working example in practice in the Arizona cotton system.
