Western Corn Rootworm

 

The western corn rootworm, Diabrotica virgifera virgifera LeConte (shown above) and the northern corn rootworm, Diabrotica barberi Smith and Lawrence, are both important pests of corn in the Midwest.  We study various tools for integrated pest management of rootworm.
