Five Major Groups of Arthropods

We will cover five major groups of the phylum Arthropoda:
The class Arachnida (spiders, ticks, mites)
The class Chilopoda (centipedes)
The class Diplopoda (millipedes)
The subphylum Crustacea (shrimp, crabs, lobsters)
The superclass Hexapoda, which contains the insects.

If you haven't encountered these technical names before, it can be hard to remember them. One way is to associate them with photographs of these animals.
