Fourth Biennial ISU Hemipteran Research Symposium

The Fourth Biennial ISU Hemipteran Research Symposium (formerly the ISU Aphid Research Symposium) will be held from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm on Tuesday, 26 March, 2013 in the North Hach Hall Lobby (opposite MBB). The purpose of the ISU Hemipteran Research Symposium is to enhance awareness of Hemiptera-related research being conducted on campus, share knowledge, exchange ideas, and to establish new collaborations. The program will consist of oral presentations from each laboratory involved with Hemiptera-related research (one talk per lab), a poster session, plenty of opportunity for interaction, and an invited presentation by Dr. Galen Dively, University of Maryland, on the Brown marmorated stink bug.

This symposium is sponsored by the ISU PSI Virus-Insect Interactions network, Department of Entomology, and the Office of Biotechnology.

Registration for this meeting is now closed. There is no charge for attendance.

Parking permits will be available for out of town attendees. Please collect from the registration desk in the North Hach Hall Atrium, and see map below. Lots 27 and 28 are closest to the meeting site.
