The first Industry Advisory Board meeting for the new Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (I/UCRC), the Center for Arthropod Management Technologies (CAMTech) will be held in Ames, IA, October 7-9. The meeting will start with a reception at 7 pm on Monday October 7th and end at noon on Wednesday, October 9th. The reception will be held at the Gateway Hotel and Conference Center in Ames, with the rest of the meeting held at Reiman Gardens on the ISU campus, which features the Christina Reiman Butterfly Wing.
The purpose of the meeting is to
(i) Evaluate potential research projects and select projects for funding
(ii) Foster interaction between representatives from member companies and the research team and university administrators
(iii) Elect the IAB chair
(iv) Solicit feedback from members on other areas of interest within the capabilities of the Iowa State University / University of Kentucky research team.
Registration for the meeting is free. However, attendees are asked to cover the cost of travel to the Des Moines airport (DSM) and accommodation. Please see Travel and Accommodation for further details.
